Do the cheap no name brand portable DVD players suck?

You know the ones for $200 or less, like Initial?

I found a good price for a 7" that is $200 cheaper than a Panasonic but usually you get what you pay for. Anyone have firsthand experience?
 
I just bought Initial 7" model ($139.00 AC/AR) couple of weeks ago and have been very happy with it. It was region free out of the box, has a full function remote, and additional batteries are very reasonable ($40's range). I put it in my wive's Caravan for my 2 y/o daughter to watch DVD's and it has been terrific, my wive's commute has never been more peaceful 😀
 
Thanks for the replies. It would be about $150 so it seems like it is worth a shot at least. I just need something for work that I can use when no one is watching me.
