Do the ATi Omega 5.9s require the CCC to work?

Nope, you don't. Using the 5.9's without that piece of bloatware on a X800XT PCIe atm.

I hate the CCC too, but i no longer had a radeon and im trying to help a friend fix a driver issue, making sure that wasnt it.
