Do speedtest sites have trouble properly measuring your upload speeds?

I have 25/25 FIOS, and when it was first installed, I used to get 30/25 from Speedtest.net consistently. But Speedtest.net was revamped a few months ago, and now there are far fewer test servers to choose from. Anyways, now I get 30/16, pretty consistently. Even for the PC that is hardwired into my routers, connected to the ONT. (My desktop rigs in sig are connected via a wireless link, via WDS.)

Edit: speedtest.verizon.net , gives me this:
Checking for Middleboxes . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . Done
SendBufferSize set to [8192]
running 10s outbound test (client to server) . . . . . 5.47Mb/s
running 10s inbound test (server to client) . . . . . . 29.67Mb/s

My upload is only 5Mbit according to VZ's own speedtest. WTF?

Here's another one, a day later:

Another one, at 8PM on Sat.

Verizon's speed test is horribly inaccurate.

I would try a number of other speed test sites to see if you can replicate what speedtest.net is showing you.

I've got 35/35. I've had times where all OOKLA speedtests would measure my upstream at something like 5mbps but if I went to try to actually use it I was able to get my full speed.
