do sonograms require a shave?

if you are getting a sonogram, does the area in question need to be shaved?

my friend is asking me and i have no clue. he is getting more and more anxious the longer i dont have an answer.
anyone have any experience?

depends on how hairy the area is. sonograms require an instrument to be placed on the body which is then moved around. the part on the skin is lubricated, any loose hairs can gum the sucker up. The doctor administering the sonogram will know best. Needless to say, your friend will be prepped for the sonogram at the hospital\clinic.

No shaving required. I had one last week. Some remember the pics I posted.

It is not bad at all. I was kinda nervous going in for this procedure and it was not bad at all.

I hope his results turn out for the best.
