Do some people know how to vote?

Its funny how people in California voted for politicians that support gay marriage and voted for a proposition to ban it

I think if people looked at the issues and used there brain when voting only Republicans would get elected.

Except that when polled people support the Democratic positions on nearly every contentious issue. (Health care, abortion, etc.) The real question is how Democrats lose so frequently with the issues on their side.

As far as people voting for politicians who support gay marriage and voting for a proposition to ban it, it's almost like politicians have positions on more than one issue, and more than one issue is important to those who vote. But yeah, I'm sure everyone else is stupid and it's not just you.

Obama doesn't support gay marriage.

for anything else, you'd have to compare district by district. don't really know enough about local CA politics to say much about it.

People oppose gay marriage, but people also depend on government handouts. If they want to keep food on the table, they will vote for politicians that support gay marriage and cast aside all other considerations.

I think far to many people vote on politics as if you were voting for your favorite sports team, in reality neither party makes any sense, and they always do what they say they are against. perhaps we should all vote for me as a write in candidate next election, or I suppose I could settle for Yoda, at least his speeches would be interesting.

if you want to fix health care you need a magic wand or you have to pay doctors less. Republicans and Democrats can not do either of those so forget about the goverment for that.
