If water on your skin is frozen, it probably means you already have frostbite.

Which means I'm not worried about water-based moisturizers causing any damage.

If you're really bothered by dry skin the the winter get a humidifier for the house, even the medium sized ones will put enough moisture in the air to help prevent dry skin & sinus trouble. The side benefit is you can set the thermostat back a few degrees and still feel comfortable adn save money. Soaps and moisturizers can help the symptoms but will not fix the cause.

Why would you use bar soap when body wash is so much more convenient?

Not to mention much more sanitary.

Really, is sanitation a concern when it comes to bar soaps?

You tell me, after shower it usually sits in a soap dish, it's used by more than one person that uses your bathroom. You think it's clean just because it's a bar of soap? ROFL.

Not trying to argue but, I didn't think it was commonplace to share bars of soap. In my apartment, everyone has their own area in the tub to store their shampoo, soap, and any other products. This had been the case even during college.

My father has bad skin, my uncle has bad skin...and no pill or soap will ever change my genetic code. Though I guess it does make you fill better about yourself from time to time. I guess it's a case-by-case basis.
