It's whiners like some of these people that have encouraged cities to ban smoking ON THE STREET IN THE OPEN AIR.

I smoke and I take breaks, no more then 2 a day. But I never take an hour long lunch breaks, instead I pick up food... smoke on the way, and eat in the office. I save more time by smoking and eating in the office then people do by taking their hour long lunch break.

id used to work at a hotel, pretty much all of the housekeeping staff and the housekeeping mangers smoke. I did maintance work. I always saw the main housekeeping manger and some of her fav staff going off to pool maintance room to smoke. the manger be out there like 20 times in a day.

I only have one co-worker that smokes and he smokes twice a day anyhow, so for him I don't mind.

No, smokers at work don't bother me. They can take as many smoke breaks as they want to. I'm too busy to notice.

Let them go stand outside for 15 minutes 10 times per day. I've got bigger fish to fry!

If you're that jealous of the smoker's breaks, get up and go outside with them. Grab a soda/water/baby bottle and just shoot the sh!t with them until they're done.

I gave up smoking years ago, but I swear... If I ever start again it will be just to spite the irrational anti-smoking whiners.

I go outside to enjoy the nice weather and I have to deal with people that do not care about non smokers, they just stick around as if they were welcomed.

And about the breaks they take, it's bullcrap. They just walk out whenever they feel stressed or overwhelmed and nobody can say anything about it!

We have a great system at work: the boss is a really heavy smoker and he calls the breaks so we get extra ones whenver he's desparate for a puff. Granted, it means he's likely gonna live a shorter life, but it means for breaks for me so it doesn't bother me that much at all.
