So, I happened to have a page open from Outpost/Fry's .com looking at 300GB SATA drives.
Interestingly, the price came down to $80 shipped free - and I thought, wow! that's a pretty good deal.
So then I thought I'd search for other potential Seagate deals. Go to the search page, type in 'Seagate' and see what pops up.
No other sales detected by the search, but...the 300GB wasn't on the list. I thought - that's strange, and opened up a new page to enter the item # directly. Sure enough, there's the item.
So......what gives? Do sites like Outpost/Fry's intentionally "hide" sale items from searches so people can't find them????? That seems kind of cheesy to me.....
