Do S-video cables carry sound?

Or just video? So in other words, if I ran my 6800GT to my TV, would I have to run a seperate speaker wire as well?

Also, do they make S-video cables in the 5-10 foot range? The one that came with the card is pretty short ..

No sound, that's why they call it S-VIDEO not S-video/audio.

at 100ft i think the quality is gonna be prety bad. and no they do not carry sound.
