Do ribs usually have a lot of fat content?

Got some pork ribs. The first time I ever tried them. They smelt great and the little bit of meat I could get off it was good too.

BUT there was an overwhelming amount of fat around it and laced in with it so I had to throw them out after a few quick bites. I tried to cut off the fat but it was mingled with the meat too much to separate them.

I'm just curious if they normally have high fat content.

OMG ribs...

That's it... we're having ribs for dinner tomorrow...

Pork ribs are fatty big time. The best way to have them is to cut them up, boil them for about 20-30 minutes, drain all the water, then add a botttle of VH Honey Garlic or Dry Garlic sauce on them and boil them in that for about 10 minutes. They are then less fatty and the meat practically falls off the bone.

You don't know how to buy the right kind of ribs, therefore, you got only bones. I like lamb ribs, that shed has the best fat/meat ratio.

The question is, are they fatty or not while the container is closed!
