Do retail warranties carry over to a 2nd or 3rd owner??

I'm looking at a used retail Leadtek Ti4600 Ultra TD, and was wondering if the 3 yr warranty would carry over to me, or only the original owner. I would not have a receipt, but I assume the retail versions are marked differently (serial number??).

For most manufacturers the warranty does not carry-over from the first end-user. Indeed sometimes it may be passed of entirely to an OEM if purchased through them.

I'm not sure what LeadTek's policy is however....

I would go to the Leadtek site and look at the warranty terms. AFAIK most do not carry over.
