Do remotes for laptop computers exist? a cross between a wireless mouse and a remote?

Hi peeps,

Just wondering if a remote control type device exists for laptops, that can be used to control the dvd software I use (Win DVD), or the t.v. tuner (ATI external USB 2.0) that I have?

Any suggestions would be appreciated

Any of the several out there would work. You are going to have to plug in a receiver though. Gyration http://www.gyration.com/default.asp comes to mind.
