I'll just make a quick comparison for you, one that a lot of you can relate to easily. Talk to a friend who who is in love and has gotten engaged, and you will probably hear a lot about their fiance, their hopes and dreams, and so on. That's natural, isn't it? They're excited about their relationship and most of us don't find that annoying (at least not for a while

).
The relationship with God can be very much like that. The people who are trying to share their discovery may annoy you if you are thinking that they are pushing a "religion" with a list of do's and don'ts and obligations, all to avoid hellfire and so on. Granted, there are surely people who ARE pushing that. But those who are sharing their
faith, their relationship with God... that's not "religion." It's a relationship, and it is the foundation and motivation of religious activities, but it is not a religion.
No one likes being force-fed
anything, and I'm sure that won't change, but maybe this will give some of the outsiders a little better understanding of how Christians view things.
