do radeons suffer from the XP refresh rate problem? & a 64mb radeon 8500le version

if they do is there one of those programs that kinda fixes it



also the new computer i may get says it comes with an 'ati radeon 8500LE 64mb dual head', but atis site only shows off 128mb versions? is it a typo?

All graphics cards suffer from the XP refresh rate problem, because it's a WinXP "feature". There are a few utilities (mentioned in the article) that correct the refresh rate problem.

As for the 64mb and 128mb, there are both 64mb and 128mb versions of both the Radeon 8500 and the 8500LE. It's not a typo; expect to get 64mb of memory if you order a 64mb version (and 128mb if you order a 128mb version).
