Do Public Displays of Affection bother you?

I was hanging out with a close friend and his fiance on Friday, we were just sitting at this diner for a half hour or so, talking, etc. Every... five minutes or so she would reach over and kiss him or something and when they did, I would avert my eyes - not so much because it made me uncomfortable, but because I didn't really know how else to react.

After the third or fourth time, his fiance asked me if their PDA's bothered me, and I said, no, I really don't have a problem with Palm Pilots, but their public displays of affection were something I did not want to gawk at. (so, yes, they did make me feel uncomfortable, to an extent) She then made some comment to Kyle (my friend) about how they can't kiss in front of me, and his response was just, "no, I see what he's talking about."

I regard those displays of affection to be fairly private, and so I don't exactly know how to respond when a couple engages in them excessively.

Doesen't bother me, and my girlfriend and I have no problem with (small) kisses and other displays of affection in public.

That was the overall message I got from Lindsay (the girl). She is quite possessive.

To the first question, no, your answer was sarcastic. To the second question, yes, most people would just state that. Third, I'm still wondering why you feel the need to insult me.

You've done nothing to indicate anything more complex than a ten-year-old's thought process.
