Do PSU's not come with connectors for GPU fans anymore?

Currently putting together a new build, and i've come across a problem.

I just put in an XFX GTX 260. I have a Corsair 750W PSU.

The video card has 2x6pin slots, and a smaller 2pin slot.

Its been many years since i've built a computer or used a desktop but the small 2pin used to power the fan. I googled this and its the S/PDIF sound input connection to deliver sound through a HDMI connection?

I tried to find it in my manual for the 260 but its not there.

Just curious what this 2-pin slot next to the power slots actually is. Thanks!

Never saw a psu with a connector for just the gpu fan. Gpu fan draws power from the slot.

Does your vid card have HDMI out?

Maybe its digital input to go from your DVD drive to the card so it can be output over the HDMI

It is S/PDIF.

I believe its an input so that if you have the DVI->HDMI adapter, you'll recieve sound via HDMI.
