Do PSU's Come With A Power Switch?

Just to clarify, I do not mean the power switch on the back of the PSU, I mean the power switch on the front of your computer. The press-depress power switch.

Well doesn't that just depend on your motherboard and case configuration? Usually you just run the LED switch from the power switch itself to the motherboard, correct?

Hmm.. well I got exactly what you meant at the first and I wasn't quite sure what these other folks were talking about ... 😉

My answer is, No, I have never seen a power supply packaged with a CASE power button switch. They are two seperate animals. 😀 Remember, the power switch connects to motherboard headers, which is connected to your power supply. You will probably have to order one specially or get one from an old case. 🙂

All my ATX cases have come with a power switch that connects to the motherboard headers. All AT cases I've seen come with a button that pushes the plunger part of the switch that is a part of an AT power supply.
