Do PS2 controllers work with PSOne?

Hi folks,

It's the 15th anniversary of Street Fighter II and they've come out with some cool gamepads and joysticks commemorating the event. I don't have a PS2, but I'd like to use the PS2 version of the joystick with my PSOne to play Street Fighter Collection. Here are the controllers in question:

I'm hoping to be able to use the joystick with my PS->DC converter as well, since I have a bunch of fighting games for DC. As you can tell, I'm a little out of the video game loop. :D

Thanks in advance for any replies!

the PSX -> DC adapter should work for your joystick. At least it does for my friend who's using the Hori Tekken 5 Stick that came with the Tekken 5 Premium Bundle.

I used a PS2 Dual Shock 2 successfully on a PSX. The only incompatibility I've had was with Tenchu, which refused to run with any analog controllers, enabled or not. I was able to borrow one of those old-school digital controllers, then eventually got one of those $5 ones from BB.
