i placed an order today with a large national store today. The item was listed as 2.99 but should be more like 269.99.. i tried it out just to see if it would slip through the cracks. Does anyone actually luckout and get an item to ship like this? it def would be one of the greatest things ever!

You're going to get flamed for this. ATOT doesn't really take lightly when you rip someone off like that.

You may or may not get flamed.

Good luck!

i was at a resturaunt the other day. ordered my meal and some cheese dip stuff. the guy didnt bring out the dip and said he was sorry and said he would take it off the bill (told him it was ok and i didnt want it). i ordered a small and when i took the thing to pay he credited me for a large. i pointed it out to the lady and she said thanks for pointing it out and went ahead and let me have the large credit :)

hypocritical? i jumped on the 105$ gf2 ultra a month ago. it was unkown if it was a misprice, and could have been the correct and i got in on it, not quite the same thing as i wasnt intentionally screwing the company. hard to explain when to make the decision.

He's not putting any effort into it so it's not really "ripping them off." If he tried to pull a scheme of sorts with doings of questionable morality, then you could call it that.

It will go through UNLESS you post it to Anand Hot Deals.

Then 900 people will order the same thing in less than 6 hours, a minimum of 3 idiots will call customer service to "double check" or to warn them against the immoral Ferengi of Anandtech, a sleazy ebayer will order 100+ units to resell, therefore the company will find out and cancel.

They've never worked out for me, but I've realized, since the first time I saw one of these, that they are a bad idea. I think they will only lead to higher prices online.
