Do phablets fit in pockets

My Note 3 fits in my pockets just fine. Jeans, work cargo pants, shirts, whatever. But if you're one of those "business attire" types, in tight dress pants, suit and tie, forget it! You'll look like an idiot with bulging pockets.

Won't fit in my dress clothes. But I also can't stand large phones like that so fitting in my pockets is my last concern.

Fits fine in all my pockets. A little heavy to go comfortably in my workout shorts (but then, so is my keychain).

answer is, depends on the phablet and what pocket.

my sony xperia z ultra fits in my jeans, work pants, and shirt pocket just fine and it's 6.4" and in a battery case. i think that's the biggest phablet around currently.

if you cant fit it in then i'd suggest wearing mens pants

Depends. Still wearing those baggy jeans or cargo pants from the early 2000's? Sure, they'll fit without a problem 😉

Lol I'm a phablet user myself, but WTF shirts are you wearing that you can fit a Z Ultra in a pocket. Holy moley 🙂

My Note 3 fits comfortably in my jeans back pocket and OK in my front pockets, though I definitely feel it and it wouldn't be comfortable to jog/run for anything (Joe's Jeans classic fit). Does not fit in my shirt pockets (though I don't have many shirts with pockets). Fits of course in jackets fine.

just normal work shirts. it only goes in a little more than half way as it's so long (fnarr  ) but it stays and is stable.

I don't know how people put even their phones in their pocket. Solid flat object, kinda awkward and bulky to have in there, especially jeans, which are only really good for small thin flexible things like credit cards or cash as the pockets are so tight and arn't exactly 3D in terms of space.

😕

Sounds like you're describing skinny jeans.

Stupid question, everyone knows you put your phablet in your underwear right by your crotch.

If I put my phablet in my pocket, where do I keep my spaghetti?

iPad mini retina in front left pocket, 30x30 High Sierra jeans. It does go all the way down without sticking out, just pulled it out a bit for the picture. So yes, phablets are easy to pocket.

Depends on many, many factors -- not just the size of the phone, but your body type and preferred style of dress.

I think a lot of us approach this from a very "male geek" point of view. Guys are typically tall enough (and casual enough) that most of what we wear will carry a phablet without a problem. But women are typically smaller, sometimes to the point where even loose pants won't always fit a big device... and whatever gender you are, skinny pants typically rule out big gadgets. This is part of why I dig phones like the Xperia Z1 Compact. You shouldn't have to settle for lower performance just because you're either short or want to wear something fashionable.
