Not at all.
Life isn't just about cake and parties and "noodle salad" ($.01 to the one who gets that). I myself am more of a optimist, but I value the pessimist's point of view as it keeps me real. I'll go off
on cloud nine whenever I get a chance, but if I find that
pessimism is more beneficial, then I'll go with it.
For instance, when you're buying a used car from
a run-down dealership in Santa Ana, who's operating
from the obsolete drive-thru of a closed down McDonald's,
I'd say pessimism is the way to go.
