DO people still play TF2?

Nearly as many as ever. Probably a little jump off with BFBC2 but there are still 500 non password-ed, not empty servers right now at 7:00 est, hardly peak time.
 
I do normally play a lot, almost daily, but about a week ago I suddenly started suffering from massive packet loss and crazy lag. I have tried new drivers, re-installed Steam and the game, but to no avail. Others seem to be suffering from it too (I did post in this thread): http://forums.steampowered.com/forums/showthread.php?t=791112&goto=newpost

Very frustrating as it pretty much makes the game unplayable.

Still one of the most active MP games out there I believe. Whenever I fire it up I never have a problem seeing lists of full or close to full servers

This is a problem I found too and I have a problem finding servers I like in TF2. Too many are the fast respawn or modded crap.

I also dont like it nearly as much since the last few big patches , it went downhill imo.

Still a great game dont get me wrong, just worn out its welcome for me.
 
I play it nearly every day. I really need to start playing new maps or a new game mode. I pretty much always play payload on badwater/gold rush.
 
I got orange box during the xmas sale... I thought TF2 was going to be meh because I used to play classic and it was ok... but something about TF2 just makes it shine more than classic.... get it you will pleased.
 
Yes, PLENTY of people.

As for me...not really...I get on once in a while and possibly play a few days but then don't for a few months.

Not sure what that is, but this is bad and it just started for me about a week ago after ages of no problems whatsoever on Vista, then on Win7.
