Do people PMing sellers in fs/ft need their profiles active too?

I'm pretty sure they do but in reading the rules it says "rules for trading", which I think makes it a little unclear.

I'm asking because someone PMed me about the stuff I have for sale, and they are a new member from 10 days ago with 2 posts and no active profile.

So concrete yes or no people PMing me about my stuff in there needs to have an active profile.

If you feel uncomfortable trading with this individual, tell him to post his profile. I would think if someone is interested and pm'ing they should have an active profile, jmo.

its in the rules, even if hes new here he might have heat from somelace else, check that first

The OP for a FS/Ft thread is supposed to have the profile enabled. A Mod will lock the thread otherwises.

Responents do not have to have profiles or PM enabled.

As others have said, it you do not feel comfortable, ask for more details or back off. Gut feelings can be a life saver
