Once I was digging a hole for a man. At one point he told me to go get my shovel. I was under no impression that I owned the shovel. It was his shovel, but since I was digging the hole, he called it my shovel. Whose shovel was it really?

There was the time I loaned my shovel to a guy to dig a hole in the ground. It was his work that dug the hole. He owned that hole and the shovel while he was digging. When he was done, I owned a hole and received my shovel back.

Soon after, there was a second guy who dug a second hole in the ground with the shovel I loaned him. It was his work that dug the hole. He owned that hole and the shovel while he was digging. When he was done, I owned two holes and received my shovel back.

Soon after that, there was a third guy who dug a third hole in the ground with the shovel I loaned him. It was his work that dug the hole. He owned that hole and the shovel while he was digging. As he was digging, it started to rain and water started filling up the three holes. When he was done, I owned three holes filled with water and received my shovel back.

With shovel in hand, I took a few steps back, took a look at the three holes in the ground filled with water and stated "well, well, well".
