Do people make fun of you for eating unusual foods?

People are always skeptical when I tell them that butter, cheese, and jelly go really well together on english muffins, bagels, or toast. Most won't even try it, which is really strange to me (not even a bite).

I'm sure other people have experiences like this. Share your odd delicacies so that we may all partake of them and pity the fools who don't know what they're missing.

I made fun of some people who ate salted seaweed. Some people made fun of me when I put ranch on my fries but now it has taken over everywhere and I claim credit for it.

I live in the central midwest, and being one of them "colored folk", whatever I eat is unearthly and exotic to them.

yokel: Hoo boy, what'cha munhin on thar?
me: Umm . . . toast?
yokel: *look of unearthyl horror*
me:

(Sadly, it's not that far from the truth)

Actually, that sounds really good.

I occasionally get unusual comments because I pepper almost everything that most people usually salt. Fries, onion rings, eggs, you name it. Most foods are already overly salted IMO.

I make sandwiches using rye bread, margarine, jelly, salami, and onions. People think the jelly is a weird addition, but it tastes good.

I put ketchup on my eggs too.

that is pretty messed up.
Don't knock it until you try it. When I first saw friends of mine doing it I thought they were crazy and then I tried it and have since been converted.

I get made fun of for the foods I refuse to eat (ketchup, barbeque, coffee, peanut butter)
