Do people in Asian countries count right to left?

So I was standing around counting something.. boxes. When I counted them I went from left to right? 1, 2, 3, etc?

So, since in Asian countries they read right to left would they start from the other end and count right to left?

Not in India.

Arabic is read from right to left.... So, most Muslims in other parts of the world count from the right to the left.
