Do people forget that easily?!

Just spent half an hour calling roughly 15 people and I would say 13 or them told me they
didnt leave a message for me to call back. We have this system that calls ppl randomly and
people return the phone calls and we call them back within a few days. All 13 stated they never
left a message in regards to a refinance or new purchase loan! This is sooooo frustrating!!!

The thing is I have their names and all and they stated in their message that they're interested
in either a refi or a new mortgage. Then when I return their calls they play dumb.

Haha I love it when I get those on my voicemail. When machines talk to machines, the laughing never stops.

Just makes me wonder how misleading your telemarking is.

Modified slightly from what really happened to me a couple years ago (before the do not call list):
[*]I answer the phone.
[*]It is the same telemarketing that has called me 3 times a day for the last 4 weeks. It is a computer so I cannot tell them to stop calling. It won't even say what the company is or why its calling me.
[*]I get frustrated since there is no way to stop it.
[*]The computer keeps asking me to press 1 to talk to someone in person. So after 4 weeks I finally do it so I can ask them to take my name and number off the list.
[*]After 10 minutes, I don't get to anyone of course so I give up.
[*]3 days later Lilcam calls me wondering about that refinance or new purchase loan I wanted.
[*]I have no clue I ever wanted a refinance or a new purchase loan. In fact I didn't want one. I tell Lilcam to take my name and number of their telemarketing list.
[*]The annoying telemarking calls instantly stop.
[*]I eventually put two and two together and find out that it was the loan officer who was doing the telemarketing.

I'm not saying this is what Lilcam is doing, but just giving an example as to why these people you are telemarketing might have no clue who you are and who DIDN'T want you to call back.

Wow, that's amazing! I mean the fact that people actually ersponded to you instead of hanging up without saying a word.

believe me i am also hate these computer calling me with bogus stuff that doesnt interest me!
However, I'm trying to make extra money and my friend who runs his mortgage business makes about
$40k/month off this system. He closes around 20-30 application a month just from this system!

so ppl do call!!!!

I'd rather get calls like that than "wrong number" calls. God so frustrating... I don't know why my number is frequently misdialed... no trick to it...

At least if it's a telemarketer I can hang up right away and they'd get the idea.
