Do people feel more comfertable Selling/Buying/Trading with an AT'er with a higher post count?

So... with this post I'm a diamond member. I will admit that I have gotten here largely by neffing. I do try to add quality posts when I can, but this isn't always possible. However, I had a purpose for getting to 3,000 posts. I like to hang around the FS/T forum and I want to instill confidence with the people I'm dealing with. I know someone being an "established" AT member always made me feel a little better about a deal, especially if they had little heat.

So I'm curious if others feel more at ease dealing with Mr. 3000+ posts rather than Mr. 20 posts heat being equal?

Now that I have reached my goal I will probabl shrink back to the shadows and post more sparsely and save anand some bandwidth!

Depends on Date joined and post count. I'd feel much better buying off a guy who joined 2 years ago with 2000 posts than someone who joined 3 months ago and has neffed his way to 2000

It does come to mind, but my decision isn't usually based on postcount alone. I count on HeatWare (and eBay feedback if avail.) much more.

If it was a well established member of the forums who hadn't traded before, or something like that, then yeah then it would come into play. Otherwise it's pretty much all about Heat. 🙂

3k isn't really very much. IF they have 6k or higher, I'd feel confident 😉

This is true and I realize this... however, 3000 is all the time commitment I am willing to do and is more than the majority of average AT'ers. I honestly do not thing I am willing/able to put in the time to make it to lifer so diamond is what I'm satisfied with ^_^

well, if they've been here a while, especially if I've been in threads where they've neffed, I feel better. I guess it's because ebay feedback no longer means jack squat because of hijacked accts, while hijacking isn't a problem here.
