I see it all over the place - anandtech or a couple of immigration boards I've had to use recently to find information. People love to read a title and then not read the content at all and make irrelevant statements. In regards to immigration these statements are often wrong as well. I mean skoorb effect aside (some threads are too long to read) shouldn't a person's first post to a thread at least be relevant to the original poster's first post at the very least?!

For instance on grasmick.com - me asking about some peculiar SSN law and one guy's response "You can only get an SSN if you have work authorization from the INS and the card will be stamped "valid with work authorization from INS". " Wrong butt head! Read my f**king message and you'd realize that's wrong. Or another one: "So, you just want a SSN, well if she apply for a driver license, from there they will give her a letter to go and apply for a SSN. " Wrong again! People spouting off crap like that as if it's gospel is liable to get other people in trouble. Damnit!!

Anyway I'm going to bed. I don't know where this post came from either. Mad!! :|

I'm in the US trying to find out information for mrs.skoorb regarding her nursing license. I am not even lying when I say I've spoken specifically to 4 employees at the social security administration. One also thought it's impossible to get a non-work SSN now. I mean it's right on the f**king form that you can do it and they were that damn ignorant. So I spoke to 3 people on the phone. Two really didn't know the answer to my question and one of them "knew" it with solid conviction.

Well today reading on the SSA site I finally find the answer which, in plain writing, refutes what that person on the phone said who was so sure it could be done (specifically issuance of a non-working SSN to meet state guidelines for a nursing license - if anybody cares it's impossible; SSA will not give one for this reason or for ANY such general license now including driver's licenses). God, what a joke!

horsey sauce is gross

You've gotta be kidding me. Horsey sauce is delicious! Clears the nostril sinuses, burns away any nose hairs you have and puts some hair on your chest.

Horsey sauce is GOOD.

Why should i? My post is the first one in any given thread that's of any importance whatsoever anyway ;)

Uh, Jacques Strap! Hey guys, I'm looking for a Jacques Strap!
Oh, wait a minute...Jacques Strap
It's you isn't it ya cowardly little runt? When I get a hold of you, I'm gonna gut you like a fish and drink your blood!

Hey, is there a Butz here? Seymour Butz? Hey, everybody, I wanna Seymour Butz!
Oh, wait a minute...
Listen, you little scum-sucking pus-bucket! When I get my hands on you, I'm gonna put out your eyeballs with a corkscrew!

Congratulations on the child, but can't your wife just stay home to nurse. Is it our water or something. And what's a SSN, a suck suck nipple?
