Do people eat Chipotle burrito bowls w/o any rice?

Is there even much to eat without the rice?

Just wondering if rice should be assumed in a burrito bowl if not specified.

If unspecified I would default to a normal helping of white rice.

But me personally, I get my bowls with extra white rice. I get brown from time to time, too.

I replace the rice with the fajita veggies when ordering the burrito or bowl, but I have to specify it or else the first thing they do is put rice in.

Yes, one of my coworkers gets the burrito bowl with no rice, he doubles up on the beans - mixes pinto beans and black beans.

Yes. Amazing for low carb diets. There's plenty of food... just replace rice with extra serving of fajita veggies, and guac. IIRC people on paleo love Chipotle for a quick fix.

Brown rice, black beans, fajita veggies, half chicken, half steak, pico de gallo, hot salsa, sour cream, corn, and lettuce.

Yep, I also get black beans, fajita veggies and everything else. Maybe like a half-spoonful of rice to soak up the runny goodness, but that's it.

qdoba > chipotle

probably unhealthier though

but yes, rice is assumed

IMO, they BOTH suck donkey balls...

Why eat "yuppified Mexican food" when there are so many GOOD Mexican restaurants around?

(your area may not have any/many GOOD ones, so YMMV.)

It just seemed like it would be very empty with just chicken and beans plus some sauce so I put rice in. I had to order for someone very important and I never figured out if it pissed him off or not.

If you consider Chipotle/Firebirds/Bullritos or any of those Mexican food, then you fail.

Bad.

I go easy on the rice since its a filler, i would rather have more beans and veggies.

There are a few good ones but they are more expensive and take longer. I'm not in a city so there are no authentic/cheap/quick versions. I don't eat Qdoba too often, once every couple months when I'm at the mall where it is and I want something quick
