from the few post i have and the many i have read it looks like no one reads through to find out whats goin on. it looks like they just read the title, what that person has to say, and then maybe the next persons post then just hit reply. just a little frustrating when a guy has a problem gets the problem fixed somewhere in the middle of the thread and people just keep adding and adding to it not knowing it was already taken care of cuz the didnt want to read through. just my $0.02, maybe its just me:confused ;

Many times, I don't even need to read the post.

I look at the username and I look at who created it and I have made my judgement.

I typically read the thread, unless its some kind of opinion or vote or whatnot. I hate wasting time on flame wars.

i only read the very last post, then quote it, and ramble on about something which has no bearing to the quote itself.

i read all the posts if it's interesting to me. if it's not interesting i'm not gonna reply. if it's a poll, i usually just vote.

What this thread about anyways??

Oh well, here is my advice .

I think you should keep/loss the girlfriend, fix/sell the car, quit/stay in school, and personal flaws should learned to live with or have them professional removed.

obviously it depends, if it is a topic that the person is really interested in, then maybe they will read all the posts if it isn't 3 pages long or something. But a lot of times I would think people read a few to get an idea then reply with that.

depends on the tread, like this one, i just read most of your first post, none of the replies before posting this
sometimes i follow up and read the whole thread, sometimes i move on without ever reading it

generally, i don't like to jump into a well established thread (50+ posts) at all
