Do overweight people have larger bladders?

There's this guy at my work who's somewhere around 600-700 lbs. (no lie). I was sittin on the pot earlier and I heard him come into the bathroom and take a seat a couple stalls down. (It's easy to know he's coming because he breathes really heavy whenever he walks anywhere) So anyway, this guy ended up taking the longest leak I have ever heard in my entire life. It was ridiculous. Therefore, I bring you this question, does your bladder enlarge as the rest of you grows? Or did he just wait as long as he possibly could before going anywhere?

I swear, I almost burst out laughing when I heard this waterfall!!

I wouldn't think so... infact you'd think he'd have more weight putting pressure on it.

The bladder can expand a lot if you've got a lot of urine in it, and if you're the type of person that holds it in and waits until the last minute all the time, over time your bladder will have more volume.

Maybe getting up to go to the bathroom is such a labor for himself, he holds it off a lot.

Not usually, no. The heart, perhaps, might expand over time due to hyperuse just like any other muscle. It might have to work harder to get blood circulating as well in a large person. Other than that, a "large" person is usually only defined by fat and bone structure.

I've heard a lot of real heavy people have some smaller organs than normal because the fat restricts a lot of it. Bladder might be one thing that has been constricted to be smaller due to weight.

My question is, how the hell did he find his wang under all of that fat? You'd need like a little midget beside you whenever you go to the bathroom so that they can find and aim the thing.

I can usually out-pee my peers. It takes me twice as long and my stream seems about as powerful as theirs.
I'm 210, 6'5", and I run three miles three times a week.

I think the bladder can probably be stretched out over time not necessarily from added weight but from added pressure. Obviously this guy wants to make as few trips as possible and has managed over time to stretch his bladder to accomodate his needs. Not sure if that is healthy for his kidneys but anybody who is 600-700 lbs has probably given up on the entire "health" thing.

Organs usually stay the same size. He would have the same size bladder if he lost 400 ponds. The liver and the heart can increase in size, but this is a very bad thing.
