do OTA HD channels broadcast in 5.1?

It depends on the station and the progamming.

For example, the city closest to me has all ABC prime time shows in DD 5.1. The next city closest to me (which I can also pick up) has all ABC prime time shows in DD 2.0. This probably has something to do with the fact that the further away (DD 2.0) station has 2 subchannels where the closest (DD 5.1) station only has one.

it is broadcast in DD5.1, the trouble is there might be information in just 2 of the channels
