Do not update to Catalyst 14.12 if you use Eyefinity

Eyefinity is broken on Windows 7.

My Catalyst Control Center will flash back and forth, becoming unresponsive. I then get black screens. It shows strange display options in Windows Screen Resolution instead of the names of my monitors as it normally does. All of this was working 100% fine before I tried to update.

I attempted to create a 2x1 group, then set up a 3x1 group but it still screwed up. Stay on 14.11 if you use Eyefinity on 7.

Update: I was only able to resolve this with fully functional Eyefinity by reverting to 14.9

Followed you link. Is this what you are talking about?

You got Windows update KB3004394 and after Omega CCC 14.12, you have no graphic driver 14.50 and get the error message "No ATI graphics drivers found, blah, blah":

I got the issue even without getting the KB3004394 update. I believe it is a bug due to the way Eyefinity has been re-coded to include PLP and other eyefinity modes. The whole set up process for the eyefinity group has an extra few steps that never existed before, and I think there is some issue related to coverting an in-use Eyefinity config from Pre-14.11 to 14.12
