Do not Trust anyone

I don't trust people to look out for me. I trust people to be themselves. Knowing this helps one become better at understanding people.

Very true.

Maybe if you were to put a certain hypothetical situation in context, you could get a more specific response from someone. Just a suggestion. lol

Trust is a tricky thing...a lot of times you CANT be sure if you can trust someone. Thats why being trustworthy is a great trait. It means you have deomstrated a level of trust. That said If you want to knwo you can trust someone, ask people they know if THEY trust them

How do you know you can trust someone ?

If they give me sufficient evidence to do so.

Still doesn't prove anything.

True, but I'm not so cynical that I make blanket assumptions that I can't trust anyone. Trusting no one is a very unhappy and lonely way to live.

How so?

Trust is fundamental to building relationships (of all types) with other people. If you truly trust no one, you basically have to isolate yourself from the rest of the world.

Maybe. Depends.
