Do Not See partition

Recently my computer kept restarting before it got to the desktop so I had to reformat and install windows xp again. However when I entered the INSTALL xp portion of setup, I did not see the previous partition or installation of windows xp. So I reinstalled, making a new partition. Now when I go into MYCOMPUTER, it says my hard drive is only 130gb big when I know its 160gb...whats going on here and why cant I see any of the previous installations or why am I not seeing my whole hard drive

What he said.

Use an XP disk slipstreamed with SP2. Retail windows does use 48bit lba (? I'm rusty) and can't detect drives above about 130gig
