thisa company is CRAP. literally. where i work the last manager here purchased a jetstor unit for storing our restricted data and graphics files. that was about 10 months ago. in the past month we have had 3 hard drives die and it seems as though every time we plug a new one in it kicks the bucket within a week.

we understand that sometimes hard drives fail. we also have a pretty good idea of what an acceptable level of cstomer service is . . .and these people DO NOT provide it. that is the real issue- not the fact that this unit is giving us problems.

when the first drive failed we RMAed it to ACNC. did we receive a replacement when they received the drive? NO. they shipped it back to hitachi and we waited over a month to get a replacement. they claim that we did not order a premium service plan and that THEY do not warranty the drives- hitachi does. f&ck that!! we paid ACNC over $5000 for this damn POS, not hitachi. and one would expect that the minimum level of service they claim to provide for all their units would entail more than what we have gotten.

in any case, while they are RMAing the second of our failed drives we bought a hitachi drive from insight (our main parts supplier). it is the IDENTICAL drive model as the ones in the jetstor unit. AS SOON AS IT WAS PLUGGED IN IT DIED!!!!!!

there is something very wrong with this unit and ACNC refuses to back up their product. my manager called them today (for about the 100th time) and politely inquired as to what they were going to do to get us an operational unit. what the ACNC response was was a bunch of yelling, name-calling, and BS.

F*CK ACNC and F*CK THE JETSTOR!!!!

spend your money with someone who has a damn clue what the words tech support or customer service mean.
