Just a warning. do not overclock. Tons of forums on how to overclock, but it doesnt work...
Oh NOO-o-o-o-o! My poor old T'bred 1800+ (1.5 Ghz) has chugging along at 2.0 GHz (XP 2400+) for about two years, and it can't even figure out that it isn't working.
If you think your cool because you OC. Think again.....
I'm not worried about whether I'M cool. My chip has never gotten over 40 degrees C, even on the hottest summer days. If it's cool, I'm cool with it being cool.

Please return to planet Earth, soon. The natives need more bad examples. 😛

Your a retard, i will not respond to your post

All lies and trickery, right?

Let me get this straight: your one experience with overclocking didn't work, so because of that nobody else on the planet should overclock because you did it wrong and got instability, and therefore everyone else will also?

I like your scientific reasoning there ...

But none of those chips performed better, except in benchmarks, games, and other applications. 😀

I think what happened here is that Danny boy burned up Mommy and Daddy's Dell trying to be a L33t M0d|)3r and is sore. 😉

Yesterday I tried to overclock my stereo, and i accidentally let all the magic blue smoke out🙁

This is such an idiotic thread. Saying overclocking doesn't work is like saying an FX-55 has no performance gain over a 3000+. If I underclock my chip's FSB to 1MHz and lower the multiplier to 1, will I still have a fast chip? No. The opposite is true for overclocking. I have a 3200+ clocked at 2.6GHz, which gives me fourteen extra frames (average) in HL2.
