I was thinking of getting some friends together to see this. What's so awful about it. PM me if you don't want to post spoilers.
Thanks for the synopsis but it sounds like a typical horror movie. If it's just the creepy factor, Crimson Peak was pretty creepy but I can't see anyone getting upset over it.In 1630 New England, panic and despair envelops a farmer (Ralph Ineson), his wife (Kate Dickie) and four of their children when youngest son Samuel suddenly vanishes. The family blames Thomasin (Anya Taylor-Joy), the oldest daughter who was watching the boy at the time of his disappearance. With suspicion and paranoia mounting, twin siblings Mercy (Ellie Grainger) and Jonas (Lucas Dawson) suspect Thomasin of witchcraft, testing the clan's faith, loyalty and love to one another.
I'm fairly sure if I told you specifically I'd get an infraction.... so i'll say it more generally:I was thinking of getting some friends together to see this. What's so awful about it. PM me if you don't want to post spoilers.
Hmmm. Yeah, I think that bother even me. Whelp, guess I can scratch that one. Thanks.I'm fairly sure if I told you specifically I'd get an infraction.... so i'll say it more generally:
Gruesome death and use of an infant
Wiki..is it gore horror or psychological horror?
Thank you OP. Will take her to see Deadpool tomorrow instead.
Do not go see "The Witch" with your Wife.
It will make her cry in like 10 min.. and she will blame you for being so upset.
If your wife was crying in 10 minutes, she must be menstruating. My girl and I saw this on Saturday evening, and we both thought it was rather lame for a horror, more of a drama really. I think if you're a teenager you would get probably get freaked out a few times, just because teens are skittish in general. But if you're an adult, The Witch is not going to have much impact on you at all, and you'll likely be staring at your watch 30 minutes into the movie like we were.
For those unsure if it's worth the $16 Regal seems to think a ticket should go for be aware that the movie is already on the net in high quality. Probably a critic screener from the looks of it.
