My MIL fed my SIL's Boston week old turkey - gave it the shits. Bostons have bad farts, but these were rancid. Worse than old's

My first thought, too... "What the fsck DO you feed a dog turkey?"

We need edited video of a dog barking to the audio of a turkey clucking STAT.

I can think of a lot better reasons NOT to feed turkey (or chicken) to a dog other than "it makes its farts smell bad."

http://www.dogtopics.com/151/5...tips-for-thanksgiving/

A little bit of turkey breast (white meat) isn't terrible for dogs, but dark meat, skin, and fat can lead to sickness, diarrhea, vomiting, and even death from canine pancreatitis.

(I have no doubt there will be lots of people who give anecdotal evidence of how they've fed their dogs whole turkeys for 40 years and never had a problem...but try arguing with the vet and scientists.) We almost lost a dog because of a fucking chicken strip. That was the trigger.

I don't understand how dogs came from predators/scavengers, but they're so sensitive when it comes to eating even what we consider healthy food.

They have been bred for certain factors for so long that they have lost many others.

Not to mention the turkeys we cook now are nothing like they are in the wild.
