If you eat crap you will crap a lot...

Fast food is probably the biggest health problem in the west today, our bodies were not made to eat that stuff... filled with monounsaturated fats and MSG (MonoSodiumGlutamate - enhances taste)... eating dogcrap would probably be healthier...

<make people jealous>
Fortunately, I can get damn good wings by walking about 20 ft from where I am now. crispy, covered in a honey mustard sauce and virtually melt in your mouth good.
</make people jealous>

Too bad I'd have to make them from scratch...

:D

msg isn't that bad. besides the allerg that only some people get (from the excessive amount of the amino acid which i believe is naturally occuring ) there's really no othe prroblems afaik

I haven't has wings in 13 months now. :( But I did lose 43 lbs. :)

Congrats on the weight loss!

I had some of these things last week and liked them OK, but I am a junk-food king and have an iron stomach.

Personally I've never had any problems with KFC, but Bojangles owns KFC. That is some damn good chicken, and sweet tea. So yes, there is a REAL fried chicken place in NC, its called Bojangles :).

Damn, what KFC did you eat at in Charlotte? I eat at the one on Woodlawn because it's close to work and I don't want to eat at the same one you did.

It typically takes 18 hours to several days to develop food poisoning unless there was a toxin built up in the product. You said you were sick roughly one hour after eating. In reality, it could have been anything you had eaten in the last week that made you sick. If you had eaten some where else you would likely be telling us to not eat there now instead of KFC.

This totally depends on the microbial which caused the sickness. Bacillus cereus can act as fast as 15 minutes and results in the exact symptoms he mentioned. It is also commonly associated with poor hygiene of fast food workers. Salmonella can also be active within 6 hours.

B. cereus is a toxin producer. It requires incubation times for a bacteria to make you sick. There would have to be a toxin build up in the food prior to consumption to make you sick in 15 minutes.

I lost 20lbs in 2 weeks after eating a bad Whopper for lunch before my big 30th bday party. I was never more sick in my life. I never regained the weight and didn't eat at BK for over a year.

The build up could have easily been transferred from an employees hand, mouth, ass onto the food product requiring no further incubation time on the food itself.

I LOOOOOVE spicy food so these sounded like a good idea even though they were being served by KFC [logical part of brain]RED FLAG! RED FLAG! MAYDAY![/logical part of brain]

My body had an equally bad reaction to them and I don't think it had anything to do with the employees. What's sad is I only ate about half of them because the taste sucked. Never again.

Boneless wings .. was gonna try that, might have to evaulate. Again, there is no indication they are chicken .. boneless wings

i still abide by the KFC rumor that they don't sell chicken unless they put up the words Chicken.
