Can I put in my office number on the list... The asshole who worked there earlier keeps giving out his old number (which I inherited); so I get 2-3 telemarketing calls a day ranging from car dealerships to magazine subscriptions.

AFAIK the earliest anyone's can run out is June, 2008. I don't see anything on their site about how to renew after the five years. Anyone know?

call your provider and have them block that specific spam. they blocked some for me.

This was in the confirmation email:

Once you have registered, your phone number registration will be effective for 5 years. It will be illegal for most telemarketers to call you, and you will be able to file a complaint if a telemarketer does call you.

And thanks for the link for not getting Credit Card offers. I tried it so we'll see what happens.
