Do new PSUs have less airflow? PSU fan is hardly blowing...

I recently bought a new case w/ a 300W PSU. The PSU is made w/ PFC technology which is supposed to save energy and has better heat dissipation. But does this also mean that the PSU fan is hardly moving any air out compared to my old case? I haven't noticed any overheating yet but I don't want this to be turn out as a problem on the long run.

Many of the newer psu's have temperature controlled fans. Helps to keep the puter quiet, and it's really only a problem with systems where the psu fan is the primary case cooling fan....
