Do NEC AS95Fs suck?

The AS95F seems to be comparably priced to the Samsung 955DF.

Closest link to spec (use pull-down menu at top).

Since I do the dual display thing, I have no need for resolutions above 1280x1024.

Samsung has 0.20 dot pitch and $20 rebate.
NEC - variable dot pitch > 0.20 , no rebate.

I must admit NEC looks cool though.

The 955df's horizontal dot pitch is .20mm which equals .23mm or .24mm diagonal dot pitch.

The AS95F is pretty nice though I don't think it's as a crisp of an image and generally doesn't have as good of focus IMO though it might vary with each individual unit.

AS series is NEC's low-end model,
the price is just ok unless there is hot deal (I got the non-F AS70 from valueamerica for just $99 last year),
you could often find hot deal on Samsung DF series now which becomes a better buy.
