Do NBA players shave their body hair?

Strange question, I know, but I was watching a basketball game earlier on League Pass, and the announcer commented about how hairy a guy who's retired now was for some reason (surfed right into the middle of it).

Anyway, it made me think . . . most of them don't even have forearm hair . . . does the league make them shave? Or, perish the thought, hot wax?

I doubt they are forced to. They probably want to so that chafing with people under the goal isn't so painful.

I think they're hairless because, floor burns suck. The same reason why bikers shave their body hair, is why NBA players shave their hair.
