Do my parents have a problem w/their cars ABS?

By sure the tires, relatively new car (10 years) will become "hysterical" (I mean announcing you ) about an ABS trouble.

Do you have electrical problems? Do you have four year battery? Replace it first.
Do you have handling issue? Do you have four year old tires? Replace them first.
Does your engine starts running funny after putting gas from different station? Throw bottle of Techron in the tank.

May we can make up a list like that so that people would not start chasing after other parts before ruling out the obvious first.
