Do motherboards with integrated video

Or do you have to disable the on-board vid to use the AGP, or soon PCIe-16, video?

Depends on the board and stuff. Shuttle MN31N: onboard dual-head. A7N8X-VM: onboard VGA + add-in DVI-out = dual-head (I believe, never tried it).

Bigger picture: with dual-head video cards in the $30-50 range... yeah. :)

Some would, but few do. For example, current SiS and Intel integrated-VGA chipsets do accept a special upgrade module in the AGP slot, which adds a 2nd head to the integrated graphics. Note, these cards go into the AGP slot but are not AGP cards. That's incredibly rare though.

The Shuttle MN31N, Epox EP-8RGA / 8RGA+ and Leadtek K7NCR18G series all provide dual VGA out.

Some SiS chipset based Shuttle boxes can be outfitted with such a 2nd display companion card, as I just saw.

i owned a shuttle small factor that had dual-monitor...worked really well...

i think somebody found out a way to make ati's mobos with onboard graphics run with agp graphics(dual monitor)
