Do moderators not respond to emails?

I think they usually do, but probably dont have time for all emails since they probably get overwhelmed with the sheer number of emails that they get daily. (not a mod)

They responded to one of my emails once. I would be patient and wait a bit longer.
 
I think Russ hit it right on the head. If it is a self-serving whining yell-at-the-mod e-mail, they probably give it the time it deserves.... Same would be true if it is a well written, civil e-mail.
 
Buwahahaha, you expected a reply within 2-3 hours? If this forum has 40,000+ members, you will probably be lucky to get a response within 2-3 weeks. :Q
 
i hope you had a eye catching subject in those emails otherwise they will get lost amongst the other numerous emails....btw..whats the email about?
 
Everyone keeps citing the 40000+ members, but how many are actually active? How many are the same people? Anyway, moderators can take up to 3-4 days to answer e-mails (I know, believe me). And it doesn't matter how polite/impolite the e-mails are...=)
 
i emailed the mods that i needed a screen name format two weeks ago, i don't know what happened, i talked nice and stuff, why haven't you replied mod?
