Do memory dividers change automatically?

My PC has a Gigabyte G31M-ES2L motherboard ( http://www.gigabyte.com.tw/Products/Motherboard/Products_Overview.aspx?ProductID=2889 ) and E5400 processor with a default FSB of 200MHz. I can select memory dividers to run my ram at 533/667/800 MHz data rate at the stock 200MHz FSB. (i.e. 2.66x / 3.33x / 4x )

Will the memory dividers change if I install a processor with a different default FSB? e.g. if I pick up a Q6600 with default 266MHz FSB, will the dividers change to 2x / 2.5x / 3x so that standard memory speeds are supported?

Obviously I'm planning to overclock, so I'm more thinking about if/how the dividers will change or not and how my overclock might be limited.

Yes. On that particular board, the memory dividers are different, depending on the FSB of the installed CPU. Higher FSB CPUs get a 1:1 memory ratio (which gigabyte calls 2.0), which unfortunately is not possible with the 200FSB chips.
