To get arround bad driving records & what not?

Is it easy to get away with.

I spose Third Party Personal insurance could be a hassle.

People use to do it all the time in Australia (interstate licenses & rego), including yours truely, till all the states linked their computers up.

Doesnt work in Canada

If your from Alberta, and move to BC, and lets say you have several demerit points, about 200 bucks in outstanding parking tickets etc etc and then move to the province next door, like British Colombia, and try to get a car license, you wont. They'll tell you to sort out your crap in alberta first.

All their systems are hooked up.

As for an American driving with Canadian plates. I dont think so.

I'm just lazy. I hate standing in line at the DMV (or RMV in the People's Commonwealth of Taxichusetts) and filling out paperwork so I still have my NY License and NY plates.

Still driving in Colorado with California plates. :)
But I got my Colorado license already (took about 15 min to get my California license swapped for a Colorado one). :)

My family used AL license plates for years (living in FL) because they were so much cheaper. We had property in AL, too, so it was pretty easy.

Not to get around my dad's fugitive status, no...;)
